Started with one truck and a good reputation
Cedar & Vale began in 2008 when Marcos Vale left a big commercial landscaping outfit. Tired of watching quality get lost between the designer, the sales rep and whoever showed up to dig.
So he kept it simple: one crew that designs, builds and maintains, so the person who drew your garden is standing in it when it's planted. Eighteen years later that hasn't changed, just the number of Miami yards with our fingerprints on them.
His daughter now runs the design studio; the crew has been together for years. We stay small on purpose. It's the only way the work stays this good.
